The actors did such a beautiful job in this episode, which was a roller-coaster of emotions. Unexpressed emotions can lead to so much misunderstanding. It's easy to say that it's contrived for dramatic purposes, but humans do tend to behave in this manner to avoid rejection.
It just makes everything so dramatic and it's like... for what? The fallout was inevitable but that could've been solved earlier if they just talked - tell him you like him, and that's why you sleep well next to him, or something. You guys *kissed*, I'm sure he can handle the truth. But now it's too late I guess
idk how anyone can call this a misunderstanding, unjust or unnecessary - i think this was a perfect ep, as it was a long time coming. this "wound" needed cleaning & of course when u clean-out a wound (that has been festering for yrs), it's gonna be ugly & agitating to experience/watch. i loved the parallels (when u compare the scene here) when a scared/worried Dong Wook comes to find a furious Do Hyun in the rain (to the previous ep's flashback) where a younger confused Do Hyun desperately searches out & encounters a aloof Dong Wook. (until the basketball "match") that was almost scene for scene tit-for-tat. so IMHO Dong Wook finally got his comeuppance. especially when in the previous ep's flashback (in-spite of Do Hyun hearing that the only thing Dong Wook wants, is to "sleep" with him) he still had fallen hard enough, to put his pride aside to search Dong Wook out & ask if he had done anything wrong.. sorry but anyone feeling sorry for Dong Wook gotta reevaluate their thought process - cause the dude is undeserving. also take into consideration everything Hye In said, Dong Wook doesn't consider her or anyone for that matter a close confidant & yet he's blabbing to her about not just his sleeping problems, but the solution to them?!? & Do Hyun got the wrong end of the stick?!? really??? plz from where i am sitting Do Hyun deserves better then a user like Dong Wook - given everything we have seen to date there is no info that makes me doubt i have come to the wrong conclusions about Dong Wook. the fact that he now cares for Do Hyun is neither here nor there...
We finally have an explanation. Their history is revealed and we understand what went wrong. I'm sure there is more to it, but I can wait. Shin Jeon-You looks extraordinarily like the Ban Dang-Wook of the manhwa. He and Woo Ji-Han are giving chemistry, even when they soften towards each other. The eyes have it and you could cut it with a knife it's that palpable. The supporting characters, including the two main ones, don't seem to be terribly developed, but given the short nature of the series, and the episodes, this is understandable. I mean, I don't understand how Ban Dang-Wook says he has no friends on campus, but somehow he chats to the basketball coach revealing personal information.
