Li Xiao Xi, using the alias Lucy, helps doubtful women test their boyfriends’ loyalty. One assignment ends in a breakup, reinforcing her belief that love rarely lives up to trust. Feeling drained, she goes to a bar, where she gets caught in a confrontation involving a cheating couple and unexpectedly meets Xiao Bei, who steps in to help. Afterward, Xiao Bei drops her home and shows quiet thoughtfulness, leaving Li Xiao Xi unsettled in a way she isn’t used to. As new requests come her way, she begins questioning her role in other people’s relationships. At the same time, Xiao Bei’s gentle presence sparks a feeling she thought she had buried.
