The Beijiang police move into a new building, while troubled police sketch artist Shen Yi has moved into a new residence. The police squad investigate the gruesome murder of three contestants in a reality singing show. The best suspect is the surviving group member Chen Qin until Shen Yi's observations and sketches lead to another suspect.
