Both dramas involve a cast of righteous people solving supernatural cases, but they're joined by a mysterious central figure who is on a mission of their own. At least part of the "normal" cast seems to have past traumas of their own that might eventually be solved.

They're both xianxia leaning heavily towards wuxia, good music, good set designs, nice build-up.

Both are similar in that they feature a strong troupe, strong leads, and awesome side characters you can't help but fall in love with. The compelling storyline draws you in, making it impossible to stop watching.

The great atmosphere and the theme of fate that binds this people together. Even when Fate's Crossing Nan & Ke and Fangs of Fortune don't play in the same, they have both a story that keeps you guessing how ist will end and if the protagonists will be able to overcome their destiny.
