oh man the trauma of the test-taking hagwon atmostphere did rear in my head but luckily since it's not student-focused or centered i was thankfully rescued from going down into a rabbit hole of my past.
i like seo hye jin as the main protagonist and the character. she's a woman who gets down to business and knows her own mind, but she's also caught between the desires of her clients/customers and the aggressive hostility of the educational institution that she technically profits off of. she's mature, responsible, and very realistic.i think pyo chang sub the high school teacher is a good "villain", in that he's not technically a villain in that you understand where he's coming from. he's also a realistic character. that deep-seated inferiority complex that all kr men have and cannot handle except in the most aggressive bull-headed ways. damn. i wonder how this conflict will be resolved, hopefully not in a makjang way.
wi ha joon make a positive impression in this role. he's playful, mischievous, and clearly very optimistic. but still mature in a way that i like for hye jin, who deserves a guy who knows his own mind and way rather than the standard kdrama asshole. i like their conflict, it feels real and makes sense, especially since hye jin sees jung ho as her greatest accomplishment and who technically achieved all the right things and made the right decisions, so she's really thrown off by the fact that he's veered off the golden path. she still sees him as her student in a way that feels refreshing. less someone she raised and more as a sign of her success.

going crazy after good grades is something i can't understand - & don't get me wrong, even my parents were after me to study hard & only ace my tests. but that's about it. if i got low grade i got an earful, lost TV privilege's or not allowance. but i wasn't sent to an academy after school, cause in my parents eyes children/teens need down time. am more then thankful that even though they were strict there weren't like the tiger-moms/parents we see in this drama. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************the teacher Hye Jin went to confront was scary, idk how she agreed to meet him again & in that setting where they were the only 2 in a room alone. also in-spite of being apologetic there was a very scary vibe coming off him. his words seemed more like a threat. wonder if this will come back to bite her as this drama progresses. ************************************************************************************************************************************************know that according to the description Jun Ho supposed to have a crush on Hye Jin, only me not detecting it?!? also ironic he is called Jun Ho here & in Squid Game - weird observation lol

The show looks like a slow-burn romance set in the backdrop of the teaching industry. Jun-ho will get a teaching job at Dae-chi Chase. I am very excited to see how this story unfolds as teaching as a profession is very close to my heart. The fact that school teachers all around the world are the same is not shocking with the way Professor Pyo treats Hye-jin.Just because she does not have the same qualifications as him, he belittles and manhandles her. I wish Hye-jin would not let his actions go but I’m sure she was thinking about Ha-yul. With Professor Pyo challenging Hye-jin to a “battle”, it is clear that they will have more clashes in the future and I wonder if she will need Jun-ho’s help in clashing with the school teacher.

Its just everyday day life vibes with unnecessary editing and all. Something in the rain vibes and the chemistry already looks so good
