Episode Title: Love That Doesn’t Change
Hong heads to Japan without telling her mom, almost like she’s trying to escape her life in Korea. While there, she crosses paths with a guy who makes her question her disbelief in everlasting love. Fast forward a few years, she’s back in Korea, but without the love she thought would last forever. Now, work is the only thing keeping her going until things start to change again one day.

A fantastic opening which neatly brings the initial romance 5 years ago and the story now together. The chemistry between the leads is off the charts, I'm sold on them from the first scene.

I'm typically not a fan of melodrama because it often bores me, but What Comes After Love intrigued me enough to reconsider. While the first episode had its dull moments, the ending sparked my curiosity and made me eager for the next episode. If the series can maintain this momentum and deliver a satisfying story, I might just become a fan of the genre.
