Love Scout Episode 9

Still not a fan of the fire backstory

I'm just saying that Eunho and Jiyun's love story could go through emotional depths without the past connection/childhood trauma intertwine trope...It still feels unnecessary to me and maybe it's just been too overused for me to dig it. I guess I appreciate the small things such as Eunho's guilt and burden of "robbing the warm home Jiyun could have gotten" but is forced to live in a cold and lonely environment (great acting from LJH!!) Fundamentally, this storyline is leaving me with a lot of question marks however. Like, why is Eunho suddenly so curious about this halfway through the show? It just feels like a sudden oops I need to tie things together so here you go let's give Eunho some past trauma exploration time!! I only look forward to how Jiyun will close this chapter and deepen her relationship with Eunho. (The trailer already touches me with HJM's acting, istg HJM has been getting underappreciated for her acting skills).
