I don't think he will be doing many idol romance dramas anymore - there's the age aspect, and he seems to be steering his career towards more drama/serious fares, which is good for career longevity. Hopefully, he will do 1-2 more costume dramas before dipping out completely. Can he do a wuxia or an investigation one with cool fight scenes? His fight scenes as Xiang Liu were good, just not enough.

Yes, I think they do have high hopes for Sound of Silence, though I saw something on Youtube which said they are projecting 1.3 billion yuan, which is almost half of what his romance movie, I Miss You did, IIRC. Of course 2 billion yuan was totally unexpected. I guess we will see how this one does.

Was the Ma Boyong one the one that was supposed to start Hu Kai? I vaguely remembered something about Xu Kai being removed from some dual male lead drama due to his recent scandal.
With TJC's fashion endorsements, I don't think he will be less thinner any time soon. I thought his weight was good during LYF. His FFB still had those cute, pinchable cheeks. But he has been getting progressively thinner during the last 3 years.
