I know that the consumption of soju and beer in Korea is pretty high. You can buy soju in some places for less than 2 dollars. I’ve watched so many scenes of drunk people, specially in kdramas. The scenes of them drinking soju, beer and fried chicken are in multiple dramas. So I got curious and find out that after the economical recession many families started their own businesses selling fried chicken to support them and fried chicken is now everywhere there

Yeah, the fried chicken is not a bad idea haha. But the drinking… it’s a bit excessive. In cdramas as well. I know they often add those scenes for “cute” purposes, so the girls can blabber whatever is on their minds, but wow, those poor livers lol
