Did not disappoint
This is one of the rare cases where the remake is better than the original. The acting, production, story and pacing are all so great. The story did well with its pacing. It's overall cliche but it did it so well, that it doesn't bore you. You will kinda get why they did what they do and I liked it that the protag Mark, doesn't just take it when some bs happens to him. The acting deserves all the praises. Yin and War did so well. Yin has improved so much and War is even more spectacular than before. One of the things that is great about about this series is the acting. The actors expressed their emotions so well. They are so spectacular. The music is also nice. Overall this is a really great series. Kinda cliche but it does it right. Every episode was fun to watch and made me wanting for more. I knew this series will be great from just the trailer alone and I was not wrong. Was this review helpful to you?
A must if you’re an angst lover!!
First time watching this series since i didn’t watch the original before and let me say that this has set the standards. As an angst lover let me say this clear: this has the best story plot i’ve ever seen in bls. the show itself is messy as hell, you would never get tired in any moment because it keeps your attention on the story and charaters.
The whole cast is wholesome! spexial mention to war, everytime he cries for love i wanna cry with him. he’s just an amazing actor, glad he get the main role with yin, their chemistry is no joke.
I don’t think people should label it as a bad, boring, toxic series just because of the cheating plot & its against what we used to see / real situations. If you don’t like it its fine, but appreciate the hard-work behind.
Looking forward to the next three caps and get to know how they fix their BIG ass problem right now. excited!!

Surprisingly good
I did enjoyed the series, because is from 2022 and i have watched Yin and War in Jack and Jocker ,to my surprise i found this pair as a ML in both series amezing. Not because of chemistry only, but they are excellent actors, the correlates in they acting mechanism and the both have skills and understanding to carry their characters.
Kudos to the actors and those who worked on both projects.
Just on personal note, do we have to be sympathetic to a character like Ploy? I wonder, because she seems (and her character is)manipulative .
And my sweet boy Mark how many heartbreak you have to go through, to be able to build your self esteem? You broke my heart, baby boy.

not good.
2/10Negative:
1. Few love scenes and too short.
2. Few Kisses
3. Episodes was too long
4. There was too much talking in the episodes. That should have been reduced. Watching became boring.
5. That Mark deleted the video evidence.
6. Mark was too cute of the behavior. I wish he had been a bit badass/cool. The same goes for Vee.
7. The whole thing back and forth with the maincouple Mark+Vee.
8. That Vee >Mark didn't believe and trust. That was a bit annoying because it happened too often.
Positive:
1. The Maincouple
2. Acting
3. The Story

A story well written! and acted
I heard a lot of people talking about it So I decided to watch it! Unfortunately for me I live in a region where things aren't normal (Africa) . Anyway I remember someone saying that it was only three episodes and yet they managed to squeeze in everything. So when I got to watch episode 1 and 2 it was just like any normal Bl series except it was not even up to standard in my eyes {mind you I rarely rate any Bl series below fair} I was fuming and astounded, why were people praising this Bl series even I'm your king seems better than this series . I was therefore shocked to see someone two days ago saying that episode 3 was currently airing on We TV ( I don't use We TV to watch mine ) It was only then that I found out through Google Chrome that I was watching the one released in the year 2020! And no matter how bad a Bl series is I always feel that it's my duty to watch it to the end. However I decided to skip the old one and watch the one released this year and oh boy it blew my head. The same actors were involved and I can tell you that I'm not surprised it's the most viewed on We TV now. The music that introduces the actors in every episode reminds me of the one used in Theory of love and it's beautiful. I look forward to episode 4 with gusto. Yin and War deserves an award so far there chemistry is 💯✅. Mark selfless behavior in the current episode 3 has earned him my love! The story is full of perfect angst to keep you excited and turned up. The plot is good and I must applaud the writers they managed to make such a short Bl series this long is a wonder. And that they kept it interesting even up to this point is valueless. You will find the characters enjoyable. You will find Mark to be faithful even when he should really end matters with Vee. You will find Vee confused until episode 7 and you will find their friends Vee's friends especially very supportive! You are going to love this series Goodluck watching it and you will certainly love it 💓Was this review helpful to you?
this is messy and complicated in the most beautiful way possible
This is definitely one of the best Thai BLs ever released. You should really watch it if you like angsty but wholesome relationships that feel both real and emotional. Oh yeah and the acting is out of this world. It’s best quality is definitely the amazing chemistry the both the main actors and the characters have, their relationship might be messy and complicated, but you will for sure root for them in the end.
I also love how real it is. Mark is a reserved but bold gay guy that just want to be loved, and Vee is a closeted, confused but outgoing guy that doesn’t really know what he wants, but is able to really love somebody with his whole heart.
Some people might consider their relationship toxic, and i get why, but i also disagree. I feel like it is definitely messy and immature in the beginning, but it never gets toxic. Every time Vee fucks up he always receives the consequences of his actions, and he has to earn Mark’s trust back. Yes, Mark is hurt a lot by this, but this is what you will get if you fall for a “straight” guy, and every time he forgave him, he always did it responsibly, knowing the risk and still keeping an eye open.
Another thing that i loved were the intimate scenes that they had, they really sealed the whole story together, and were always fun but never too much.
The only downside was how some scendere were written. Some parts felt maybe too forced and just for the sake of the plot, but that was never too big of a problem for me, because in the end it all came together pretty smoothly (besides the sex thing that happens in the first episode which was random and completely out of Vee’s character, so i pretend it didn’t happen).
To conclude I’d say that i’ve never loved a couple more and I want this to be the only season because it ended beautifully and I imagine a beautiful future for them already.

A solid show
Cons:- There is only one good steamy scene (in episode 1). Even the ep. 10 steamy scene was rushed and really far from a hot scene. I was hopping for a thanrtype level of hot scenes but nope, not even close.
- At first it was funny when someone interrupted when they were making out, but soon it just wasn't cute anymore and it was frustrating.
- I just wish they wrapped everything up a little bit better. Eg. It wasn't a wise decision to have Mark following Vee in the end of ep. 10 after everything they went through... i wanted them to have a good relationship now and this just proved they will never be able to trust each other.
- The plot/scrit. There isn't anything outstanding about the plot and the script. There are many fillers and things that doesn't make much sense. Eg. the boxing match.... suddenly there is this weird creepy villain that wants Mark and Vee and his friends decide it's a smart idea to risk his life. Vee is straight out crazy so i get why he would accept the match, but it doesn't make sense that his friends would support that. Also, lefting the door open when you are making out? really? haven't we seen that before?
Pros:
- YinWar chemistry is amazing
- YinWar acting is top notch. Yin was so charming here... even though i hated Vee 80% of the time, i couldn't truly hate him all the time because he is so charismatic.
Overall, even though this is far from flawless, this is a solid show. Their chemistry and acting was able to turn this into an enjoyable watch, even with the not so good script.

Frustrating at first but...
... luckily, I read reviews that Vee redeems himself because the first few episodes were rough. It wasn't enough to make me want to drop it, even without the head's up, but it was frustrating as hell.Thank goodness for Mark. I absolutely loved this character but then again, I'm a sucker for power bottoms. I thought he walked a fine line between "constantly getting the short end of the stick" and "I am independent, hear me roar," both of which I'm not a fan of. But he knew what he wanted and went after it most of the time and, when he finally admitted he wanted Vee, hot damn, that was some serious flirting/seducing.
They could have done more with the side characters instead of them all bumping into people in the bar at the end. Like, seriously, three couples did the exact same thing one right after another in the span of 5 minutes. Granted, this is the only instalment of the Love Mechanic franchise I've seen so far... perhaps they get more time in the others.
I'm kind of bummed with the direction they took Ploy. She had a promising strong story arc where she took a step back from both men and figured herself out. That's a really hard thing to do and it could have been left at that with no bad blood. But then I guess the writers needed more tension between Mark and Vee and they thought, "you know what we should do? Put Ploy back into the mix." Not like they hadn't already spent half the series with her as the main obstacle already. And then she turns into the victim while also forcing herself on Vee and the viewer doesn't know if they're supposed to sympathize with her or hate her.
Overall, though, it was a good watch. I could see rewatching bits and pieces but there was way too many misunderstandings to sit through the whole thing again.

The one time everyone supported infidelity
The messiness of this show is immaculate. The way it gaslight me into supporting infidelity is honestly spectacular. Vee was someone I was so against. Boy deserved the fucking streets!!! But then... as the show went on, you just realise he's young, dumb and broke. The pain he went through wasn't explored and I'm so upset about that. He's one of those characters you either hate or you begin to understand and start liking. I'm in the later surprisingly. But he should be so gald he's a fictional character, cuz my boy Mark left his dignity at the table so many times. Cuz the way I would have thrown him to the wolves if he were real and he messed up that first time. Mark is stronger than I will ever be smh.Was this review helpful to you?
I can’t believe I liked it but I really did
I’m usually not a fan of cheating storylines because they make the characters super unlikeable. Drunken sex storylines are also iffy since the consent is questionable. But gosh, I have to say, Love Mechanics might be an exception so far. I just can’t hate this show. The characters are not meant to be squeaky clean, but even in their worst moments, they’re vulnerable, honest portrayals of what it means to be a painfully flawed and confused human being.
If you’re the kind who gets annoyed by messy breakups and BL couples having to go through 18935 obstacles before finally getting into a relationship, Love Mechanics is probably not for you.
Mark and Vee’s interactions are littered with tense, flirtatious interactions and non-answers, making it clear that their relationship is not nothing. But the best thing is that Love Mechanics doesn’t try too hard to fill in the gaps or explicitly articulate what characters are feeling in each scene. Audiences are left to infer and pick up on subtle emotional nuances through the characters’ behaviour. These gestures are clues pointing to the truth, even if the characters themselves aren’t completely self-aware of their emotions.
As Mark and Vee hold their breath to make a wish while riding across the White Bridge, Love Mechanics perfectly illustrates the irrational nature of a man in love, searching for whatever it takes to be with the one their heart desires.

The chemistry is worth watching it
Yes, the story has some issues and it's not perfect. The relationships that are displayed are not perfect but that's why I actually like it even more. Relationships are complicated and can be very messy and the two lead actors do a really good job of showing it. Their chemistry is absolutely amazing and worth watching the show! Just enjoy them and ignore some of the flaws in the story :)Was this review helpful to you?
GOOD TO COMPLETE THE SERIES
I mainly like the show because of some points.1. I enjoy the involvement of the two families of the two main leads. It's very heartwarming to watch how the families were at odd first, but in a matter of several minutes, they made an in-law bond between them
2. for me, it feels like deja vu because it's the story of the second lead who gets heartbroken by the main lead. In those series, I skipped the part of the second couple's moments. But in this series, I watched them.
3. the main lead always has to be rich. This series broke this stereotype.
4. the main lead here takes challenges many times but eventually loses at every challenge, but that doesn't mean he is unsuccessful or his love is less.
The only thing I hate about this series is how the main lead Vee is involved with Mark. Vee is in a relationship and barely clears things up with his girlfriend. he also broke his promises many times.
