The chemistry was on fire that the angst and longing look so natural.

Storywise, I loved it! I love the backstory that the male main character has and had. It made his character so easy to root for. There was so much that happened to him, I love how he was able to rise through it all.

And the love. My goodness. The love and loyalty they have for each other is just so top notched. How she doesn’t flinch from all the underground dealings his been doing. She’s been with him through almost all of it. I’m sadden by the fact that he made a decision for her that challenged their relationship once again. Communication was one of the problems they suffer as a couple, thankfully, they were able to slowly fix it towards their third chance together.

Truly love this series! The lost of sleep was totally worth it.

so far so good. make me feel alive again.

Honestly speaking, I wouldn't watch this if it weren't for Yu Shuxin. I'm not really into this kind of plot (no-blood relation step-siblings), it's just too awkward for me and not my type. But I'm so glad she's the FL here, otherwise, I may have never known this masterpiece of a drama.

The male lead, while I feel like he can do more, still, his acting worked well. He suits so much as Jin Chao. His eye acting, in particular, is his best department. Second was him while in a race. I'm glad she's paired with YSX. That kind of eye acting needs to be known more. Plus! His yearning character deserves more attention too! haha. For YSX, the girl can really act. Just one thing I wish could've done differently was her expression when Chao reached something, cos that reaction reminds me of Ling Miaomiao. I feel like that reaction was out of character for Jiang Mu's nature. But other than that, she's so great. Although I like her expressions so well, that's not what hooked me to her character. Instead, I like how cool she is while driving, while conversing, but most of all when she can fight. Finally! One thing I quite don't like in modern drama (not fond of modern drama, truthfully speaking) is that MOST OF THE TIME, FL relies so much on ML. Always needs saving. But Jiang Mu belongs to another FL who knows how to defend when needed. That's a very good one for me. So yep, these two together bring good chemistry and their tension is just so perfect!

For other characters, firstly, I love San Lai! If there's no Jin Chao or Mike (forgot his name in SAL, oh my), if I were Jiang Mu I'd definitely fall for him. He's so nice and attentive. I like the other workers in Chao's business too. But my favorite aside from the main leads? Definitely Mike. WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GIVING HIM THAT ROLE AND PAIRING HIM WITH YSX DESERVES A RAISE! He gives me butterflies every time he's close to Jiang Mu. Definitely my type if Jin Chao didn't exist in this drama (he's just built differently you know? Who doesn't like a man who yearns, who can say no, and so passionate and almost like obsessed?? I'm definitely into this type!) Mike and YSX's chemistry is also really good (or was this YSX's never-ending "chemistry queen"?). Lastly, Snakey (was that what they called her?). She's crazy but I feel like deep inside her, she's not a bad person. And yes, her with ysx made me think I was watching a GL, lol. Their dynamic and tension is so ugh so good!

Overall, this is a very well-thought-out drama. It is almost perfect. This year, I can count using my one hand how many dramas hooked me. It has been so rare for me to be impatient for new episodes, and thank goodness SAL happened because I'd be bored to deàth!

A super fresh racing drama.

This drama actually blowing my mind rn i started watching on a whim and now i’m counting down the days till new eps drop. the plot is so refreshing?? car racing + cute romance sounds like it might be messy but nope the racing stuff is so intense (i literally hold my breath during every race scene) and it actually ties into the love story so well. the FL is that perfect kind of bubbly where she’s not annoying at all she’s just so warm and makes the ML soften up in the sweetest ways. and don’t even get me started on their chemistry every little glance or accidental touch has me kicking my feet. the visuals are INSANE too like, even the casual scenes feel like they’re from a movie, and the way they shoot the cars going at full speed is chef’s kiss. all the actors (even the supporting cast!) feel so real, not like they’re just reading lines. honestly this is the kind of drama that makes me want to rewatch scenes right after they end it’s got everything i didn’t know i needed! best drama of 2025, highly recommended.

Love in the air, fast and furious style

It's too early to write a full-on review for this drama as it is still on-going, yet it's becoming one of the best dramas of 2025 for me.

The story is a little cliché, but it's very well written. It's not cringe-worthy at all and has no loopholes whatsoever.

The leads are so cute together and have amazing chemistry. Romance is palpable from the beginning, and the CP delivers an amazing job. if you're a romance lover, this will make your blood sugar rise LOL

It is filmed in various locations, namely in Thailand, which makes the setting a bit different from most Cdramas and very refreshing to watch.

I dare say it's one of the best Cdrama productions of this year, especially if you are in dire need of a romantic drama.

Good story spoiled by lazy writing

This drama is clearly designed for young or inexperienced audience, leaning heavily on exaggerated cuteness, predictable plot turns, and surface-level emotions instead of actual character development. Despite being marketed as a hot series, conflicts are dumbed down, logic is routinely sacrificed for “cute” moments, and the overly idealized relationships often cross into cringe territory. Per-episode viewership reportedly staying under 10 million only highlights the gap between hype and real engagement. Some viewers enjoy it for the flirtation and sexual tension, but anyone looking for depth, realism, or subtlety will likely find it shallow, repetitive, and unintentionally embarrassing.

On kisskh, this kind of show predictably scores higher than it probably deserves, largely because MDL users tend to reward anything with “spice,” skinship, or suggestive moments over solid writing. Chemistry and sexual tension often get treated as substitutes for storytelling, so even shallow, cringe heavy dramas benefit from that bias. As a result, hype, edits, and thirst driven enthusiasm end up outweighing plot coherence, acting consistency, or character depth. It makes the ratings feel more reflective of appetite than quality.

I was looking forward to this drama for story line but was disappointing.The writing could have been much more solid, and there was really no need to make the characters so extremely cutesy. It ends up undermining what could have been a more grounded story. I also wish the “fake sibling” angle had been handled better. If both characters had always known there were no blood ties, the dynamic would have felt far less uncomfortable and more believable.

I Truly love this series

I’m so happy that this series has finally been released after months of waiting.
I read the novel and absolutely loved it, and I kept imagining the series in my mind—especially Jin Chao, my favorite character.
This series is truly amazing. I was so happy on the day it was released that I cried with joy.
The love in this series is portrayed so beautifully, and I literally scream over everything Jin Chao does. I truly adore him.
Every morning when I open my eyes, the first thing I think about is this series, and at night I fall asleep thinking about it. I hope this time leaves me with many beautiful memories.
