Me, personally also not like transmigration things. It only reveal at the end of novel and not important. I mean the story could flow well without it, so why adding it? This is really not 'cherry on top' things impact

well, it's not that i'm not a fan of transmigration in general, in fact i like second chance in life kinda stories. but with this one, it is so out of place. judging by yu qianqian's line when she saved qi min from drowning, the drama adaptation sadly left it in.
as for wei yan's rebirth, since it's labeled as a side story, i'd like to believe that it was not canon and just one of the what ifs (i'm just not sure because i don't know what the author wrote in their post script notes, or if they ever did write something for that specific chapter).

agreed, it would have been much better if she was the original concubine, because now im worried why is she there? will she get home? What will happen to her son?
