Creating a character - Qi Min - For all of you who are fascinated like me in how actors create a character, this is Deng Kai talking about it:
"For me, taking on Qi Min was just like every other role I’ve auditioned for—I approach each character with the same level of seriousness. As long as an opportunity comes my way, I must seize it. So I prepare very thoroughly.
I usually read the script 3, 1st for the plot, the 2nd to feel the character, and the 3rd to fully step into the role. Then I go over the lines, and once I understand everything, I start designing certain actions or habitual behaviors that the character would have"
"Qi’s personal experiences are extremely intense, not something an ordinary person can truly relate to. So you can only try your best to start from the script and search for the character"

Deng Kai and Snow Kong in H16 - A great example of fan service and strong team work. Many people in MDL forums that does not know how to separate reality from acting/fiction when shipping a CP, feel offended when I talk about what fan service is. Anything that a CP does in front of a camera is fan service whether bts, live shows etc. Most real relationship in c- ent industry only happen behind closed doors, so we don't come to see it. DK and SK in Happy Saturday were a clear example of a successful CP throwing "candies" during the whole episode. They were super sweet to each other and the audience. They know if they show great chemistry they will land roles as acting partnership or even solos. Reality has proved them right, as recently her third collaboration as CP has been announced. Fan service is there to be enjoyed, not to create delusion. Here only a small snippet of what the episode was

I couldn't resist to share this. Chinese actors are something else .😍 Most of the time we get this lovely bts with them having nice interactions in set. I know some people want to fill that the CP they are shipping is "special" but as a matter of fact most Chinese actors are really friendly among themselves and have a strong sense of comrades. It is only in award shows that for some reason they becomes "strange". My Chinese friends explain me that because high profile reps are invited, including authorities, they are required to behave like this. Here Deng Kai and Snow Kong 😀
