Female generals rule the world! Both drama feature female lead who are military general. However, in Rebirth, we got two badass female general (Chu Qiao and Huan Huan) and more strong and capable women (Queen Lingyue, Miao Miao, and Ming Lu). Both drama involved "crazy villain" archetype, but in Rebirth every villain is a crazy beast.
Both FL are butcher by profession and are arranged to be married to a scholar ...but in this the scholar keeps his word to marry her ... both completely different personality work together as married couple to face many difficulties together and falling for eachother . Plus FL is also a fighter in this one
Beware because this contains SPOILERs!
1. Both FLs are strongly independent
2. Both FLs and MLs are orphans
3. The deaths of parents of the main leads are related to the same mysterious event which is solved during the plot
4. In PoJ both ML and FL are from military lineage
5. FL finds ML under the snow
6. ML becomes metrilocal husband
7. Both FLs have a younger sister whom they have to take care of

The similarities are found only in the male supporting characters: Qi Min/Sui Yuan Hai in *The Pursuit of Jade* and Lu Jiaxue in *The Rise of Ning*. Both share the traits of possessing strength, power, and wealth, yet falling in love with a sincere woman when they suffer a setback. The characters in duo dramas are portrayed similarly in the original novels. Especially the rise of Ning novel, on extra chapter, lu jiaxue and Yi ning have son and hate his father.

Both Male Leads were picked up from the snow.
Both Female Leads require the ML to marry into their family.
Both Male Leads had a hidden identity and temporarily lived with the FL.
Both Female Leads are Strong in Character and take charge of the well-being of their Family.
Difference is:
Pursuit of Jade: The premise of the FL being the head of the family was somehow overshadowed by the upbringing and his rank in the military and court; even if at the end he chose to still stay married into her family. It is more romantic in a traditional sense.
Glory: Format is similiarly-paced like a vertical drama (director used to work on vertical drama). Many hints and details can be missed in the first viewing. Great rewatch value. The FL is a matriarch of a business family (tea industry). She, being a domineering CEO, him being a green tea cat; results in a great push-and-pull dynamic during their courting period. The drama asks the viewer to see a world that is flipped (it makes more sense in the first half if we imagine a reversed harem) while challenging the notion of blindly following tradition over following values. The last arc contrasts their world that serves as a comparison to glimpse at how people are shaped by different types of families. If you want to see a true strong FL that is more similarly-mirrored to modern strong women, then this would be your cup of tea!

Strong FL
ML has a hidden identity (mighty and high)
FL doesn't know her true identity
Both FML's parents die
In both dramas ML already know FML's identity long before FL knows
In both dramas leads have great chemistry
In both dramas they get apart thinking they won't meet again but fate makes them reunite again
Both drama has excellent storyline, casts and visuals. Highly recommended. Both dramas are hard to leave in the midway, both keep the viewers in hook and crave more for what would happen next.

Strong FML with great fighting skills
Bullied for humble background
Doesn't know her real identity
ML has a hidden identity (crown prince)
Leads get apart thinking they won't meet again
One of the greatest chemistry of all historical dramas....
Nice costumes and BGM. Their love story is a must to watch. Highly recommended.

•FML has great fighting skills ( in POJ I really love how she fights with her butcher knife)
•Family members had to die for schemes(in GTG FML's aunt had to die )
•ML has a hidden identity (has a very high position and respected, feared by all)
•Political schemes, strategies, war (In GTG war between sects and demons, among the sects)
•They get apart thinking they won't meet again
Though it's not similar, but in POJ , The side couple has a very toxic, sadistic love-hate relationship (Qi min and Yu Qian Qian) though I hate forced painful torturous relationship, but they did a great job. Yu Qian Qian's hatred towards Qi min, and Qi min's obsession towards Yu Qian Qian has added some nice spices in this drama.
The storyline of POJ is very great. I couldn't skip even a minute, I had to watch every minute of this drama because it's very addictive.
If you like strong FML and ML, great fighting, wuxia plot with journey to save the country and family, work together with friends to solve problems, and you don't mind a slow burning love then POJ is for you. 100% recommended. A must watch.
And if you love fantasy, ML chasing FML storyline with friendship, family love and protect everyone, then GTG is for you.

The main couple in Good bye My Princess shows similar chemistry to Qi Min / Yu Qianqian in POJ. Intense love-hate relationship. The chemistry of both couples is truly unforgettable. Similar to POJ, in GMP there is a captivating male lead who is literally a "walking red flag" due to his possessive, forced love behaviour, although there are sweet moments. Prepare lots of tissues for GMP..
If you like Pursuit of Jade, then you might like The Road to Glory. Both are historical romance costume dramas starring Zhang Linghe as well as the same screenwriter, Zhou Yue. Both center on a love between high ranking nobility and a commoner, seeking truth and revenge in the midst of war, battles, and palace court intrigue. In The Road to Glory, the male lead rises from the ranks to become powerful while the female lead experiences a fall from grace and goes on a mission for revenge. Their love and alliance is put to the test.
There's not much similarities between them, but just in case if someone want to watch it, the similarities are:
Strong FML
FML is from humble background (her real identity is a God)
ML has a hidden identity (for first couple episodes)
ML is very powerful and highly respected and feared by all (God)
Strategy and politics
As you can imagine from the title of the drama, it's a drama about the feud between ML and FML. Though this drama is highly debatable among viewers for FML 's actions towards ML, but I thought it was reasonable and justified.
I mean, come on, it's feud ! So would it be logical if FML kept being lovey - dovey with the ML? There's misunderstanding, anger, frustration, hatred. So of course she would behave like this. If I were her, I would do the same. I really felt sorry for her.
I enjoyed it.
This drama has a very nice twist that I never imagined. It has nice eye catching costumes, excellent visuals and it has a happy ending. Highly recommended. A must watch. If you like hate to love or love to hate drama, you will enjoy this one.
