Our girl nearly being boiled alive was horrifying. The original’s mother is frightening, and the possibility that there could be a biological connection makes it even more uncomfortable. That connection is still something I’m questioning, rather than treating as confirmed.🎭The male lead finally gave me the kind of involvement I’d been asking for. His arrival, the reveal of his newly awarded status following the public petition, and then carrying her out? That was a very good entrance, sir. My favourite scene of the episode.🎭He knows she’s an impostor now, and his feelings are becoming clearer. But I like that she isn’t simply handing him her heart because he’s interested. She’s made it clear that it’s precious and needs to be earned.🎭The original’s tantrums are getting repetitive for me, and I did fast-forward some of them. That’s frustration with the character’s storyline, rather than the actress.🎭I’m also suspicious of the relative who seemed rather pleased about the possibility of our girl dying. What exactly does she know about all this?🎭9/10 — a frightening episode with a rescue that finally gave the male lead his moment.
