The woman I’ve been calling the original now knows she isn’t the real daughter. Meanwhile, our supposed impostor appears to be the daughter who actually belongs there and still doesn’t know. I’m going to need a new naming system.🎭There are also hints about the original’s parentage involving the aunt and her twin brother. I’m waiting for the exact details to be confirmed, because this family tree is complicated enough without me adding branches myself.🎭My favourite scene was the villainous Duke receiving fifty blows after the sabotage involving the estate’s water canal. He handed over the estate and still couldn’t leave it alone. Watching that come back on him was satisfying.🎭I like that our girl wants to use the estate for refugees and farming. The male lead backing her and shutting down the aunties’ profiteering was good to see. I was torn between the leads for favourite character, but he gets it this time.🎭Their growing closeness is enjoyable, even with the distance still between them. She asks the general to help train the people on the estate, and the male lead gets jealous. Sir, she’s trying to organise an estate. You can volunteer.🎭8/10 — useful progress, satisfying consequences and a family mystery that has made everyone’s nickname inaccurate.
