“Who are you?” Finally, sir, an excellent question 👀

The original being boxed up and taken to that nasty Duke was my OMG moment. The scheming around her keeps getting messier, and the merchant cousin still helping despite how she’s treated him says quite a lot.🎭Our girl’s dance for Grandma was my favourite scene. The male lead could barely take his eyes off her, which was thoroughly understandable. She remains my favourite character, and I’m enjoying seeing her have moments beyond simply trying to escape the next disaster.🎭I’m still waiting for him to become more active in the plot. Looking good and watching her is appreciated, but there are several problems here that could use his attention.🎭Then he ends the episode by asking who she is. Now we’re getting somewhere. I’m hoping he recognises the woman in front of him and chooses her, rather than everything becoming another excuse to test her. We’ll see.🎭9/10 — the dance, the tension and that final question have me ready for the next episode.

🤩☺️

Episode 7 is absolutely unhinged in the best way. It packs in like five reversals, the "dead" butterflies are actually lanterns, the old woman who was supposed to expose A-Chou suddenly flips sides, and the real heiress gets shoved into a box instead . It's pure chaos, and honestly it works. The show finally leans into its trashy, dramatic roots instead of pretending to be serious. One Chinese review called it "very web-novel satisfying" but also pointed out the plot armor is thick. AChou survives purely on luck at times . Still, after weeks of slow tension, this was a wild ride.
