Where the Mask Ends

嫁金钗 ‧ Drama ‧ 2026
Both FLs are poor and swapped with a rich girl to marry the "dying" rich ML. Both MLs either recover or were never dying to begin with, and suspect the FL's identity is false. WCRG is much lighter in tone, though, and the rich girl is nice vs. the evil one of WTME.

Both FLs are poor girls who swap with a rich girl in an arranged marriage to the ML. TOD is much lighter in tone, though, and the rich girl is nice and not evil.

Both FLs are poor and look identical to a rich girl and end up taking her identity. Both MLs are suspicious and antagonistic toward the FL intially.

Switcheroo between two women — a vicious noblewoman married to a husband who hates her and a lower class woman who is clever and kind. Same premise, but one is kinda rebirth and the other is a fake bride switch.

Both FLs assume another (sister or stranger's) identity and marry the ML, who is a general, in an arranged marriage. He begins to suspect she's not who she's claiming to be.

Are You The One leans into the "fake identity" trope in a different but fun way. In Are You The One, she loses her memory. There in pretending to be someone she's not, at someone else's say so. She's tricked into thinking she's the wife of the ML. When she finds out, she does in fact make him grovel.

It is similar in the sense that the mother daughter have a complex relationship, the fl going through hardship ml backing her etc
From a general family, similar politic, scheming second house who results in the fl being lowkey abandoned by her mother then in her return her mother still doesn't like her (which is kinda similar)

Female lead and male lead are engaged.
She’s abusive to servants and tries to kill a love rival.
Male lead hates her.
She is swapped out with a nicer person (body swap/lookalike), and has to adjust to the damage and reputation her previous self caused.

Dual role. Lead character who is royalty, evil, and abusive, is replaced by a lowborn lookalike due to certain circumstances.
Their betrothed has to deal with/adjust to their sudden kind personality change.

IDK WHY, BUT THIS TWO MASTERPIECE IS LITERALLY ATE, THE FL IS VERY CUNNING AND BADDIES. (and I think the plot of both dramas indirectly feels almost same)
