One big family happy ending

Jin Yu’s mom was an evil troll, without question. She deserves every day she is in prison. However, her driver and Wang Xing Sheng that defrauded an entire neighborhood, ruined the reputation of an orphanage, and tried to burn Ye Meng and Jin Yu with the car deserve punishment too. That should have been ended better with those two. Jin Yu’s little brother is brought to Gma’s and she is being especially ornery holding a live chicken in his face saying it’s for dinner.😂 little sis gets into music school and Ye Meng is expecting. Ya En is more ready to start a relationship with Kai after seeing his blind date. 😂Jia Yu is now being matchmaker and caretaker for these two.🤣 There is a warm family scene with the women hovered over baby gifts and the men making dumplings. There is also a very cute scene with Jin Yu and the dog. They are discussing the care and treatment for the new baby. Ye Meng has not got her way with a cat yet, but if their child is a girl….that battle is all over. They will probably each have one.😂overall there is far more good than bad in this drama. The supporting cast were the hit of the show for me. I also enjoyed all the music. I struggled with the writer’s choices with the leads, and I complained at length in the episodes I was most discontent with.😂In spite of my feelings on that, the drama is worth watching. Just be prepared to fast forward if things get too annoying with the leads😝 When they did it right, the family moments were heartfelt and thoughtful. Beautifully done. I just wanted that a lot more for the leads throughout the story rather than en mass at the end. The cast did a wonderful job acting their roles. My discontent was with the writer’s and director’s choices for leads. If you enjoy angsty leads and revenge seeking mothers, this drama is definitely for you.
