Ji Zong Nin De Ma Jia Ruo Diao Le (2023), with the leading couple Sun Yue as Ji Ming Xiu and Xu Yi Zhen as Xia Yan, is supposed to be a romantic drama but it is more a romantic comedy with some really funny moments and an insipid romance. The leading couple has a nice playful chemistry but there are no sparks in the relationship. The leading male has liked her for a long time and, although they have an intimate night together already, once they get married, she keeps him at bay for most of the drama even when he is constantly helping her and showing his love in many ways. The story is one that has been played many times but in this one, to make matters worse, the female lead has an incurable disease, forces him to divorce, and leaves him so he will not suffer but he spends five years suffering from loving and missing her. Her friends, thinking that he has moved on, are accusative and dare to say that she has always wanted to come back to him and, on the long run, it turns out that it is up to him to get her back. Overall, the drama is not really romantic, the pace, even though the drama is short, seems like an eternity to get to a “happy” ending with a boring and bland ending. There is no romantic in this drama.
I watch this in 2024 since i quite like Sun Yue and Xu Yizhen pairing at that time. The plot is quite more serious since FL has terminal illness and ML was liking her for long time but his indifferent attitude broke FL heart. I need to make confession they didn't suit this drama and there is no romantic sparks between them. The comedic part didn't save this drama. Xu Yizhen constant weakness in acting is showing and Sun Yue cannot hide her weakness like he used to. The ending was bland. Not recommended to watch.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
