Melody of Golden Age Episode 2 Reactions
One major question has risen for me: both leads met as children, and Shen Du gave Yan Xing a talisman/necklace, which we see in her flashbacks. However, Shen Du’s third condition for their marriage caught my attention: "She’s not the wife he wants to marry." This makes me believe he has someone else in mind—perhaps the girl from his childhood? If so, he’s actually married to the right woman but doesn't know it yet! I can't wait to see if this is a translation trick or a major plot point.
