That hairpin was so pretty tho. Why I think I hv seen it somewhere before? I thought those assassins before were imperial guard but that man who gave order to capture ML who was it? Sworn brothers?? Looks like he was gonna be so hurt by this physically and mentally.

Let me list the ways

2) i love it when they down weigh down ep 1 with backstory. they know we know the character archetypes and goals of musicians like Pan'Er and YinZhang, so they hit the ground running, which hooks the discerning viewer.
