Shine (Orchestric Ver.) Episode 1 Reactions
After waiting for two years, we finally saw shine's release. After going through a series of issues such as shooting delays and rewriting the script, i finally got to see my favorite actor APO return to the screen. After watching EP1, I'd like to share some thoughts1. Photography: I really like the overall shooting quality of this time. It can reach the level of film shooting. In terms of color tone, scene and transition design, it has all reached a very high level.2. I'm quite satisfied with the plot, at least in terms of the entire narrative structure and pace of the ep1. It quickly unfolds the entire storyline centered around the character TRIN, who is connected to every character in the show, making people look forward to EP2 with great anticipation.3. The casting of the actors: APO's portrayal of Trin is extremely accurate. Also, I really like the casting of Krailert this time. It's just perfect. I love his piano performance so much. Naran and victor's performance was also very natural. I'm looking forward to seeing more of their parts.4. Acting skills, I must give APO and SON a score of 90 in ep1. APO performed both the French part and the interaction with senior executive at the end very well. In France, he was a melancholy and indignant young boy. In Thailand, he was a rigorous, patriotic and mature economist. You can watch his performance. Even his eyes expression are different.5. Favorite cut:-The part where Trin and his French girlfriend finally embrace each other in silence;-Krailert the piano part;-Trin took off his shoes and tried to blend in with the environment.In conclusion, I can give EP1 a score of 9. But I can't fully trust BOC. I hope it can still maintain such a high level in the next eps. No more too many cliches and outdated plots that follow the trend.

Only 1 episode aired so far and Im absolutely loving it, not only the amazing Mile Apo chemistry, the blending of other casts together with the storyline, visuals, the OST, the cinematography, its a perfect recipe. The pace feels very comfortable and not too overwhelming given alot of things happened in the first episode. It shows how good the upcoming episodes are gonna be too! I would 100% recommend this amazing MileApo comeback series !!

The first episode made big impression. The color scheme, costumes and music are top notch and easily immerse you in the era of the late 60s. It's seems more like western production than a regular Thai BL.BOC did it again fresh idea and production for more mature audiencestanding ovation for the animated opening and all 9 OST!

akting mile dan apo begitu natural, visual mereka jangan ditanya, hahahahahah... alur cerita yang menarik (era 69), sinematografi yang memukau dan OST nya enaaak semua....tak sabar menunggu episode-episode lainnya...

So many expectations, so much talk about that couple, as if they were going to win an Oscar. And a completely average story, weak acting, even below average, I still can't find a serious actor for my new movie.
Everyone is delighted and rated 10 and it will be an even better series, each one is the best for you or will be the best. I don't see why rating something that currently has no plot, no action, we didn't see anything in 58 minutes except that 55 years ago there was corruption and bribery and that conglomerates always have the main say in everything. No dynamics, no excitement, bad acting, I'm not a fan and I can't say it's more than 4 for production, acting, director....

A great start! Politics, sex, social rebellion. There is a lot going on and the keys players are introduced in this first episode. Who is the villain? Who is the saint? Right now it could be any one.

BOC had a way of showing you grit with intricate storytelling that flows and comes together. I don’t think anyone is matched. Mile plays an eccentric character that is unapologetically himself as Tanwa. Apo is all business and seriousness as Dr. Trin. I think his life's about to change.

1st episode was an absolute banger. Solid storyline, amazing acting, mesmerising visual, beautiful songs.

This has managed to cohesively have multiple plot points in its first episode that doesn't feel too heavy or convoluted. This was elegantly done. You have my completely attention.

A beautiful start. Introducing the characters we will follow, a cinematography already going strong in the first frames, it feels a bit dark at first, and slow and we're left with a colorful cliffhanger, that's a good choice, setting a serious mood but letting us know that a touch of romance isn't out of the way. Very very nice start.💖
