Fresh urban horror techniques

This is one of the better Korean urban city horror with surprisingly refreshing techniques that doesn't rely heavily on extreme graphics to build its horror, instead it uses multiple plotlines with clever foreshadowing from a narrator perspective to induce fear onto the threat itself. There's even a touch of world building that heightens the significance of the incident site, effectively making the premise believable and spine chilling.

Good but also bad

Ghost Train had an eerie atmosphere and some solid suspense that kept me engaged, and I definitely enjoyed watching it. The premise was strong and the setup promised a lot of mystery. That said, I found myself wanting more… more depth in the story, more development in the characters, and a bit more payoff at the end. It delivered on mood but felt like it could have pushed further to fully maximize its concept. Still, if you like ghost stories with a chilling vibe, it’s worth the watch.
