Ye Hai Meng struggles to accept the sudden shift, fearing Lu Si Yu might oppose her. The Lu family seizes the chance during the tournament to bring Lu Si Yu back to Cloud Manor. He confirms with his father that, according to Lu Si Nan’s will, he is now the new head of Yunhai Group. Though stunned, Lu Si Yu vows not to hurt Ye Hai Meng and to stay with her. Conflict erupts between father and son, with Lu Chang Dong imprisoning him in the manor’s basement. Back in Hai Jiang, Ye Hai Meng, despite losing control of Yunhai Group and Cloud Manor, still trusts Lu Si Yu. With the help of longtime friends, she discovers that the Lu family once tried to buy overseas land four years ago and plans to use it as leverage to negotiate with Lu Chang Dong.
