Li Zong, Ni Zhao Cuo Fu Ren Le (2024)

Mini series that feels like a movie, with a good cast and an excellent wardrobe.

This mini series has 103 episodes of roughly 2 minutes. I watched this in one edit on YouTube, which meant a lot of the sound quality was worse than was intended (e.g. people clapping sounded like rummaging).
But putting that aside, the main leads were attractive and had decent chemistry. The female best friend is someone you love to hate. The story is interesting enough to keep you entertained. There's little to no other storylines in this, and everything seems to relate to the main plotline, which I appreciated. The ending was dramatic but they actually discussed that ahead of time why they did that. This series felt as if watching a movie, only noticing a new "episode" when there's a slight pause.
The clothes of the men and women are excellent. Even the evil women get to dress up prettily. The wardrobe team deserves a raise. The makeup up was excellent, I didn't even notice it on the guys.

If you normally love mini series with absurd plots and hunky men who take off their shirts at least a few times, you'll like this show. The romance is less at the forefront and there's much less kissing in this than normal mini series, but the shirtless man could compete with dhaozheng for sure (iykyk). The latter does have better chemistry but the acting skills are similar.

Give it a chance but try to find an official well-translated version as the YouTube version is awful at the machine translations, and I noticed they have two or three scenes in the wrong place.

Can someone cast these two in mainstream drama already?

This short drama keeps on coming up on my fb timeline and gets me invested. Lol. And I am very much liking the ML and FL’s chemistry in all their dramas I’ve seen so far. The acting is on par with the mainstream drama if not above some. Doesnt hurt that the ML is gorgeous af and the FL is also pretty. The ML looks like joongkook some times (and in certain angle) to me. Lol

The story line was ok, nothing too absurd or cringey. It may be a little bit too common and cinderella-ish, but after getting a bit tired of long winding/complicated dramas in full scale dramas, sometimes you just want to watch something simple and cliche, but still able to keep your interest. But what makes me impressed the most with these leads’ short dramas so far, is that their house, company and cars and even costumes always seem appropriately luxurious for a movie about an ceo/millionaire.

Watch this in YT while accidentally lurking around (lol) and tbh the translation is quite questionable, but despite that, i still enjoyed this a lot! Hopefully these two can make it big some day!
