Goddess Bless You from Death Episode 1 Reactions
Finally we are getting PoohPavel back on the big screen and they are having me hooked since the first minute.
The first scene immediately sets the vibe for the whole series : mystery, supernatural, investigation and a whole lot of chemistry.
Thup, played by our lovely Pooh, is so endearing and makes you want to cuddle him and protect him from the evil of the world. It sucks to be us because Singha, our handsome Pavel, eventhough a bit (a lot) suspicious of Thup and especially about all the supernatural stuff, it's obvious that he has a soft spot for the ghost seeing orphan.
Normally I don't like scary/horror series, but i gotta say i'm really invested in this one and can't wait to see what will happen (edit : i already watched all 6 episodes but forgot to type out my notes after each episode).

strong start & that's saying something given this a Thai BL, as have watched others in this genre (like Khemjira) which made me roll my eyes already in the 1st ep. so this one was interesting, creepy & entertaining... kept me wanting more - good start. the acting was on point & of course with Pavel around there is tons of eye candy. so no complaints so far. also i love his look here, more natural (unlike Pit Babe, where he felt a bit too "done up" for want of a better word) also like the "top" energy, takes me back to seeing him the 1st time in 2 Moons 2 - he was the best thing in that BL & he was the 1st Top that bottomed & made BL history. like i said, he was the most memorable thing about that BL. so even though his role here is nothing like his character there, i like this side of him. also (i know am repeating myself) dude HOT...lol - *****************************************************like also seeing Pooh's new character - that is kinda like Charlie (in Pit Babe) & yet i don't mind it so much, cause i like the fact that he's not a delicate flower, that needs hand holding & constant smelling salts cause he's so fragile - that in spite of living with his ability since childhood (& here i am throwing a ton of shade at Khem's character in Khemjira who is the opposite & my main reason for disliking that BL) he did develop a way to cope. ********************************************************************there more questions then anything after finishing this ep - but will wait as assuming will get the answers as this progresses. the only thing i want is that the rest is as good or better than this 1st ep. **********************************************************side note: not surprised at the chemistry between the leads, but was shook that already in the 1st ep u can feel the "heat" - but i guess that's why Pavel & Pooh got paired together.

This was lowkey fire and i am for some reason watching it with my mom who in her words everyone looks gay and she's very confused. 4/10 from my mom. Good start. I thought it was gonna be scarier and I'm glad it wasnt. I like their little moments it was a little awkward bc my mom is right here and i wasnt gonna tell they are gay, but shes like they are so gay. She thinks pavel is good-looking and “the rest look gay.” “Why does he keep touching him? Is he gay?” I kept explaining to her that he literally just explained and shes like how do you know that. Lmao. Overall great lmao. 8/10 okay bye!

Well made, make up is 10++, story is a bit clunky (why is the detective taking a suspect to live with him lmao) but it's BL logic so it doesnt bother me TOO much. Pavel is doing great as always and pooh is improving. There's something awkward about him, idk how he is irl, but maybe that's just the way he is, and that's okay 'cause it works for this character. overall 10/10

Episode 1 of Godless Bless Your Heart sets the tone immediately with a dark, chilling atmosphere. Seven bodies found hanging in a tree inside an abandoned mall already gives the story a disturbing and occult feeling, and the mystery instantly pulls you in.Thup, despite being the one who can see ghosts, actually doesn’t feel eerie or mysterious; he's clingy, unstable, and cute in a way, making his interaction with singha CHAOTICC. Singha starts off suspicious of him, but you can already feel a subtle emotional attachment forming. I hope that as the series continues, Thup uses his abilities to contribute to the investigation, showing strength rather than acting like a helpless “damsel in distress,” and that we get a dynamic where both rely on each other equally. I also wanna add that I loved how detailed the ghosts looked!!

Love how the first episode sets up thestoryline and the backdrop of ghosts and the occult. Love thecast. The pace was good and I like thechange in settings.

I am completely speechless. Since The Sign in 2023, there hasn’t been a proper police BL series, and finally we have one that brings everything I love together, police, crime, and forensic investigation. Goddess Bless You from Death is an absolute masterpiece. Even better, both Pavel and Pooh return and deliver such incredible performances that I couldn’t look away for a second.This series is everything I have ever wanted in a BL. The crime scenes are chilling, the ghosts are terrifying, and every moment keeps me on edge. The pacing is sharp, the music builds tension perfectly, and the visuals are dark and cinematic. It captures the essence of mystery and horror while still giving space for emotion and connection.Pavel shines as Officer Singha, the tough but rational cop, while Pooh as Thup brings depth and vulnerability through his ability to see ghosts. Their chemistry feels magnetic, growing stronger with each encounter, and I cannot wait to see their relationship evolve.This is easily one of my favorite BLs of the year. It is thrilling, emotional, and beautifully made. My Saturdays are set from now until January 2026.

The first episode was a great introduction to our main characters and side characters and their dynamics. Amazing intro to the case and although it’s horror it balances it well with story and also subtle humour❤️. Thup is my favourite so far, because despite him being so adorable you can see that there is more to him.

Good plot, good acting, good visuals, just everything I want in a series! I really could not look away for even one second that’s how hooked I was! Looking forward to how the next episodes will play out :)
