✨ delulu is the solulu✨
I have a serious love-hate relationship with this drama — like, I kinda loved to hate it, but also kinda hated to love it. the plot? about as realistic as a unicorn doing the moonwalk. cast? total eye candy. chemistry? questionable but also kinda there.. even if the ml insisted on kissing the fl EVERY FIVE SECONDS— like, buddy, chill. but tbh, I kinda liked the insistency☕ — makes me feel like he’s always lurking in the shadows, waiting to save her (take a smooch). stalker vibes? hehe absolutely. adorable? sure. the story? girl, don’t even get me started. it’s a hot mess — like they threw a bunch of random plot twists into a blender and hoped it would turn out into a smoothie. I dropped it at ep12 but still peeked at the finale just to see how much spaghetti they could throw on the wall. and girl, that ending? confusing as hell. they wanted to show that the murderer is also a victim? okay, sure, but not like thatttt. and the miscommunication? next level. I swear, some scenes looked like they were written during a coffee break, just to add drama for drama’s sake. I was legit laughing during emotional scenes because they were so over the top — like, calm down, drama queens! peeped the comments online and I was SHOOK — wdym FL didn’t know about the tattoo and ML was clueless about the pin? girl, that just made me wanna throw my phone across the room. like, y’all couldn’t even bother to connect the dots? some episodes felt totally unnecessary and pointless — like they were just padding for time, or maybe they ran out of script ideas? “let’s add this scene for no reason at all and call it a day🎀.” as for the ending? not even remotely satisfying — just more confusion and more “huh?” moments. honestly, this drama was more about Weerant than the romance — talk about missing the point. but I gotta give props — I loved how they normalized boys crying and showing feelings. Luke? gorgeous. Joss? snack. I could see myself continuing this with a bowl of popcorn and just laughing at how ridiculous it is.. like it’s so bad it’s good. but this drama is more of a one-episode-a-day one. I even saw it on those “toxic drama relationships” complications on YouTube and I was like, “yeah, that’s about right.” btw, this isn’t biased — my name means butterfly too, so ig I'm not gonna be too harsh lmao💅Was this review helpful to you?
Never Again
So I'm a big fan of Joss Wayer's, probably the biggest. I love his face, his bod, his acting.... You get the gist. I wanted to watch this because of him.I started this show and the storyline and great acting reeled me in, but every time Kawin misbehaved with Nabi, I lost it. During the flashbacks, you could see how sweet they both were, but all that grabbing someone against their will is textvook toxicity and it irritated me to my bone. I would've been able to tolerate it if Nabi slapped Kawin everytime he did, but she only writhed and whined. Do much girl power but no girl power at all.
I stopped watching when Kawin started kissing Nabi by force. I had no interest in knowing what happened after that. I was interested in the rest of the movie, but I won't stick around with the main characters pissing me off so much.
This movie doesn't change my opinion of Joss Wayar though. I can seperate fiction from reality and I believed he played the arrogant, rich, obsessive lover boy part impressively. 👍 to Joss. 👎 to Kawin. 👎 to Nabi for putting up with all of that shit. The fact that she let some guy push her around was awfully inconsistent with her no-nonsense 'facade' and a big letdown. This isn't a slight to the actress either, just the character. I couldn't bring myself to finish this. I definitely won't be rewatching.
