A comfort show
When I first started watching this, I thought it would be a silly comedy show with no real plot, but now that I've finished watching it, it''s become a comfort show for me. Genuinely such a heartwarming show with such great life messages.I loved the character development for all the characters, the plot actually surprised me so many times, even after seeing some spoilers, it felt impossible to predict what would happen next, in the best way possible! I absolutely loved the ending, the MC Pei Qian's decisions were so surprising but felt perfect for his character. I'm so happy everyone got a happy ending.
I would love a spin off series or mini epilogue so we can see more of the character's current lives, but having this ending is also satisfying enough for me.
Live life, do what makes you happy, don't worry about earning as much money as possible, don't worry about the rat race. Follow your dreams. Be happy.

I was expecting much more
Things I loved1 The premise. I thought it was genius and that it would be perfect for some funny situations and maybe some deep thoughts.
Things I disliked
1 Everything else. Mostly the actors. I didn't connect with any of them and certainly not with the main leads. Something bothered me the whole time. Maybe the feeling that the ML wasn't happy or that I disliked toughly the FL actress. It felt like she thought she was some important character and she acted that way. I didn't find the cast endearing or funny. So at the end of the day it wasn't as good as I expected.
2 The ending. It should make me happy and it did in some way but I also felt depressed seeing the ML and his interactions with the rest of the team. His acting wasn't great anyway, one expression the whole time, but even his smile made me sad in the last episode.

This is the most good and meaningful modern Chinese drama i've watch so far
Some of the ost in this drama are really giving me the vibe that come when playing a game, its really catchy?! The rest of the ost also really good for carrying the emotion in the story. Even the ost in the last episode its feel like I could really feel the pei qian emotion and even I feel like I'm in his position. The actor and the actress are really good in deliver the emotion and the meaning of their part in this drama. So the funny part doesnt feeling awkward and even the romance part that didn't have any kind of "romantic" part is succesfully giving me the warmth.
And the last one, the story. It really took me into various kinds of atmosphere. I'm really glad for the happiness, emptiness, and warmthness that brought in this story. It's give me a lot of lesson to think again abouth my own life, feeling glad abouth my life, and hopefully i could be the next pei qian (obviously doesn't have the contract like the one he had) that brought the happiness in this world, have a good friend, produce the product taht can make averyone happy, and obviously to become rich
Thank you for anyone that become a part of this work.

An Underatted Must Watch Gem!
Such a fantastic show. At first it might seem like just another absurd satirical drama but the more you watch the more things start to unravel and the underlying messages start to present itself but in the best way possible. The show carries a refreshing vibe with all the characters carrying a sort of warmth that really tie the show together. Will leave you saying FAMILY by the end of it. Not to mention just how FUN the show is. I was laughing every episode without fail and by the end of it I was even shedding tears.
The way the show presents itself and executes the plot really sums up the shows message spectacularly. They really had me reflecting on myself and my own life on what I would do if I was faced with that kind of situation and how to handle the anxiety of it all.
The actors also all did a fantastic job in their roles and I love them so much.
If I could erase my memory and rewatch this for the first time again I’d do it in a heartbeat.
Spoiler Alert, My Favourite Quote From The Show:
“Dear Traveler, welcome back. On your past journey you may have lost your way and you may even have thought of giving up. But you surely also gained scenery that belongs only to you.”

Disappointed
Won't discuss details, started superbly. Great plot, awesome ensemble. But the main character is stuck with one face/look of dejection from the middle of the series until the end. His sulking and separation spoiled it for me. Worst 3 chapter ending I've ever seen in any drama. The other actors and characters deserved so much more. He was hardly in any of the episodes at the end. Still not sure what he was doing, nor do I care by that point. Was this review helpful to you?
