Vingança como objetivo valeu?

esse título coloquei assim porque foi um questionamento que foi feito ao protagonista. aos meus olhos não foi apenas vingança, ele queria restaurar a ordem do reino que seu pai sonhava. Esse foi acho que meu primeiro cdrama que o protagonista não tinha um par romântico e nem fez falta, sua luta era outra mas ele tinha os seus amigos. Suas estrategemas eram de tirar o fôlego, o espectador espera qual será o próximo passo de todos, as ligações e as traições claro. o "mocinho" que era o rei deposto, não teve um papel ativo mas acho que esse era o sentido, fazer ele ser forte para ser um rei, tem um coração bom mas passou anos reprimido e usado. Foram tantas mortes também, uma hora pensei que não tinha mais jeito e todos iam pelo mesmo caminho...a realidade é essa, o preço da guerra é bem caro e a vida não tinha o mesmo valor, era para salvar o reino esses "sacrifícios". me partiu o coração o protagonista perder a sua irmã, a morte do general gu yu e também do amigo do protagonista lá no beco.....e agora o final, nosso li conseguiu o que queria e ainda fez o vilão que matou seu pai dar a vida protegendo o reino. o questionamento é se li sobreviveu...mesmo que não tenha, a história valeu, eu recomendo e assistiria novamente

A drama that knows where it wants to go

There is something almost ironic about watching yet another drama starring Cheng Yi already knowing that death awaits his character in the end, as if it were an unwritten contractual clause. In this case, however, that predictability works in the story’s favor. From the early episodes, the script makes it clear that there will be no escape for the protagonist, and it earns its credibility by remaining consistent to the very end. The political conspiracies are well structured, the tragic core is respected, and within its chosen framework, the narrative shows no obvious structural flaws. It knows exactly where it is going.

That confidence wavers briefly between episodes seven and ten, when the pacing slows to a near standstill and risks draining the drama of its emotional weight. Thankfully, the series regains momentum and delivers a strong final stretch, supported by solid technical work in makeup, set design, and overall atmosphere. The protagonist’s ultimate sacrifice for the greater good culminates in a strikingly lucid, almost illusory scene of Huai An walking through the city he gave his life for, watching daily life move forward just as he once foretold. It is a restrained, melancholic ending that honors the journey.
