Love's Ambition Episode 4 Reactions
I’ve waited a very long time for this to come out along with everyone else. I have to say it was definitely worth the weight.

She will of course be caught out in her lie. However you can see why she would do it. who would want parents like that. They cared little to nothing for her.

Her parents (and sister a bit ) are really hateful! The parents are the main perpetrators but the sister acting all innocent and blaming the fl for wanting NOTHING to do with them , is SUPER sketchy and awful on her part.

An unwelcome visit triggers Xu Yan to re-live her most heart-aching moments with her birth family and her elder sister Qiao Lin, whom she thought would stay away. Xu Yan had almost been killed and was driven to tears by her uncaring parents who always chose to favor the elder, even to denying a future to their unwanted daughter.
How will Xu Yan handle this new threat to her careful construct? Agave preparing to bloom is not a happy omen.
Zhao Lusi's tears when playing the high school student denied to attend college exams by her own father are not exaggerated, but convey the depth of emotions. We meet Wan Peng (better known for her lovely and airy role in "My Girlfriend is an alien") as the selfish Qiao Lin, and, briefly, Guan Zijing as her fiancé (who, despite being always in support roles is an actor who even in fleeting small bits doesn't fade into the background, since playing Yuan Shuai (LYX)'s secretary in "Love is sweet").

It's always good to see drama that goes back from their past to understand the story, and because i understand how troubled XuYan was in the past, I am more sympathetic of her scheme than it is to consider it as a bad person... her family esp. dad and mom who favor more the eldest , is quite sad , i'm just glad that XuYan still got her grandma , her only true world.

How long can you live with lies before it all falls. That’s the current intensity that piques the interest but keeps you on your seat as well.

Zhao Lusi really impresses me every time I watch her series. I thought she would be stuck on the cutesy vibes and young romance type of genre, but this series proved me wrong. Her portrayal of emotion is very on point; she's not afraid of showing emotions like crying, even though it would require a strong expression on her face, which, if not done correctly, will lead to an awkward moment that makes it ugly for actresses.
