2025, Tokyo. Katagiri, a retired banker who lives in a manga cafe, is suddenly visited by Kaeru-kun, a giant frog that warns him of an incoming earthquake. Kaeru-kun says he fought alongside Katagiri 30 years earlier, saving Tokyo from an earthquake, but Katagiri has no recollection of this event. The battle begins once again.
