Simultaneously good and bad
So for a short drama there are parts of this that are genuinely impressive — the cinematography is good, the sound mixing fits the vibes, and I admit...some steamy scenes were great and a breath of fresh air from the cutesiness that c-dramas usually stick to.With that being said, it felt somewhat overdone. I lost count of how many times the ML kabedonned our FL or pinned her wrists down, and because the drama WAS so short, I felt like we really needed to just cut some of the kiss scenes and just work on the plot more.
There are moments where the story jumps around; it's not crazy and you can still follow the overarching plot (which is actually quite solid and needed more screentime), but I was still left feeling confused as to when we got from Point A to Point B.
The acting is also inconsistent. There are some very impressive moments, like a particular crying scene for our ML. But every single character feels a little stiff at some point and the dubbing doesn't help at all.

Chemistry is over the top!
Full of passionate scenes! I really loved watching this series, even though the actors were infamous but they tried to act really well. Action scenes were intense and so does the love scenes of lead couple! It should be the long series!! Wen xi’s character was little dummy type where she acted like she already knows her sister was murdered lol rest everything was fine! I would rate it 9/10 lucky are those who can now watch it in a one go as we waited for the episodes to come out patiently! ^_^Was this review helpful to you?

only starting is good
I truly liked the starting but when the female lead entered in the company with her sister's name from then I didn't really liked cause the story was not that good from then cause if you are using someone's name then you should know about the company and about that person and be prepared but she was not so it didn't feel like she is investigating and the male lead acting was good in the starting but in the company he lost that vibe 😔you can watch but it's a one time dramarewatch🙅( personal opinion ) 🪷

Spicy but Silly
If you want to watch something with a lot of steamy kisses then this is a great show. But it depicts a toxic relationship and there isn't any romancing. Just brute force which amounts to sexual harassment. There are so many things that I found aggravating and non-sensical about the plot in general as well. I found myself rolling my eyes and thinking, "this is dumb" quite often.So why have I given this a 7.5? Well there are 2 reasons:
- Despite the show having so many cliches, the mystery kept me intrigued and I did like the main couple but I kept hoping they acted more normal. Especially the male lead. He was a bit more gentlemanly in the beginning and later he had so many contrasting behaviours that I wasn't sure if I hate him or not. At one point the female lead does finally slap him and he deserved a lot more so I was pleased for her. All of this made me want to keep watching and see where it would lead.
- The more important reason is the second couple that you see later in the series. It's an older woman younger man trope and they have a much more normal relationship. They are nicer to each other. They look great together. And the female lead is mature. I get turned off when female and male characters that act childish. Fortunately neither act like that. I just wish they had more scenes together.
The thing that would have improved the series would be if the main leads actually communicated with each other. That among other aspects were bizarre. I also felt like the male lead treated his friend far better than he did the female lead who he is supposedly protective of.
There is one particular OST that plays at the end of the episodes as well that I quite liked.

Great Cdrama ever
Well this drama was a rollercoaster. But I would call this drama a dark romance story straight Outta Wattpad.The story is good, cinematography is also good ✨ but actors lacking in acting skills . They lack so much in expressing their feelings. Like, female lead is just there without any expressions. A little more expressions and acting skills would've made this drama even more better.
I also think this drama lack a little bit of logic. There are few things in their storyline that lack so much logic. they could've shown with more logic than just doing it in a dumb way.
Let's talk about characters now.
FL- her acting skills lack so much. But let's give it an applause for the chemistry and tension with the ML. Her character isn't one of those typical FLs where she's just sooo " oh hero pls save me my prince charming, I'm weak and fragile ", but she's not " that's how it's done love " type of girl either. She's not that smart but not that dumb either.
ML- this guy!! I think he played his role pretty well with all those dark and morally grey vibes. All the fighting scenes were awesome. A little bit logic with his actions would've been great😂
Overall it's a nice Cdrama I've ever watched till now in romance department. Romantic Scenes and chemistry is on point!! I'll probably re-watch it!!

The butterfly effect
You can watch this drama if you’re willing to overlook a lot of details and just focus on what truly stands out: the chemistry between the leads. From the very beginning, you shouldn’t go in with high expectations regarding plot or logic… but if what you want is pure attraction between the main couple, this drama delivers.The chemistry is fire—hot, intense, and very convincing on screen. If you’re looking to feel love, especially from the male lead, then this drama is definitely for you. He carries most of the emotional weight, and his affection is clear and strong throughout.
So yes, it’s not a drama you watch for story depth, realism, or polished writing, but if you want sparks, passion, and a very affectionate ML, give it a try.

alors j'ai regardé le 24 épisode sur plusieurs jours avec des pausesj'ai aimé mais trop de rapidité dans les épisodes
pas assez de développement dans l'histoire
beaucoup de scène avec des bisous forcé
énormément de violence mais ça je le savais
après les acteurs principaux on bien joué leurs rôles je les vues un fois mais je ne le regarderais plus j'ai toujours du mal avec les dramas a cause des longueurs mais là ça allait mais franchement je ne le recommande pas

eccitante !
Serie pessima nell'ambientazioni,budget probabilmente bassissimo, attori Non un granché tranne Ren.... Ma assolutamente da vedere eccitante dall'inizio alla fine non ci fa mancare brividi, mal di pancia e ansia..vista tutta dun fiato. se la regia da una parte è stata bravissima nelle scene più hot in tutte le altre scene era terrificanti quanto fossero false e quanto gli attori fossero assolutamente inappropriati. Comunque vale la pena di guardarla perché è veramente emozionante.Non me lo sarei mai aspettata da un drama orientale. Baci pazzeschi!!!Was this review helpful to you?

About the storyThe drama was good ..like real good. . the plot was interesting.. good paced less cliche .. dialogues/ script were to the point .. there is balanced amount of suspence , mystery , chase ,action and romance .
About the cast
The ML (Jesse ren) was amazing I have seen him in support role in a few dramas but this was my first time watching him as lead ... And he did commendable job ... He is in such a great shape .. his act was also good and his kissing scenes were bomb

FL is such a cutie .. I must say she is one of the most gorgeous girls I have seen in Cdramas far far better than a lot cdrama actresses who look excessively plastic and can't act at all. Her acting was also good the only thing that I felt odd about her acting was she didn't keep a good difference between the double roles she played (both sister's characters were extremely over lapping)

It was fine for a drama ost nothing appealing as such

Psychotic ML and a story that went off the rails
This drama started our so well and I had such high hopes for it. It was intense and action filled and I was really rooting for the characters. Then somewhere along the line, the ML had a personality switch and completely one eighty-ed into a psychotic and toxic alpha male who I didn't like at all. His character was ruined imo, and I couldn't root for him anymore despite still liking the FL. It ruined the story that his character changed so much and the story itself dragged a bit and although I absolutely loved it at the start and appreciated all the action, this drama went of the rails towards the end and it ruined the story due to lack of consistency meaning the characters weren't believable.Was this review helpful to you?
Suspenseful, action, and romance helped to make this movie worth watching.
There were ample suspense, action, and romance scenes to keep the story moving and interesting. The story has a good beginning that piques the viewer's interest to see what will happen in the next event. The acting of the main leads and supporting actors was good enough considering what they had to work with. The main male lead's consent intimacy with the female lead has you wondering if he was taking advantage of the female lead or if he had feelings for her.Jesse Ren's features resemble a younger Liu Yuning and could pass for Yuning's younger brother. It is evident that this is a low-budget film, and the cast had to work hard to keep the viewers' interest. Compared to other low-budget films, at least this film didn't have annoying background singing and unbearable sound and acoustics.
