An outstanding memorial drama

This is a memorial drama. It was created to preserve in the collective memory of the Chinese people the trials they went through during the Japanese occupation and the People's War of Resistance from 1937 to 1945.
The drama was created with respect for the smallest details of everyday life in the Shandong region. It reconstructs many historical events of that period. It is filmed very realistically. Fiction here serves rather to connect events and people.
The drama is primarily aimed at the Chinese, it is not a commercial product. But if you are interested in the real history of China, if you want to learn more about this period of it's history, you can try to watch it.
There are no complaints about the direction, script, camera work, or costume designers. This is a superbly and very high-quality drama about war, and it was shot by high-level professionals in this thematic.
The actors, every single one, considered it an honor to star in this drama. And they worked with full dedication.
I especially recommend the final soundtrack. It has a special story. Combined with the final credits footage, it leaves an unforgettable impression.
