Olha, esse dorama me surpreendeu bastante. Eu já esperava algo leve e divertido, mas "My Girlfriend is the Man" conseguiu me prender de um jeito que não imaginei. Dei nota 8,5 porque, apesar de ser uma história envolvente e criativa, ainda tem alguns pontos que poderiam ter sido melhores explorados.

A trama traz aquele mix perfeito de comédia, romance e momentos emocionantes que fazem a gente ficar torcendo pelos personagens. O desenvolvimento do casal principal foi, sem dúvida, o ponto forte: a química deles é muito boa e os diálogos rendem cenas divertidas e ao mesmo tempo tocantes. É aquele tipo de dorama que te arranca risadas, mas também te faz refletir.

Claro que existem detalhes que poderiam ter sido mais trabalhados, em certos momentos senti que algumas situações se resolveram rápido demais ou ficaram um pouco superficiais. Mas isso não atrapalha a experiência geral, porque a proposta da série é entregar leveza e entretenimento, e nisso ela acerta em cheio.

O elenco também merece destaque, porque conseguiu dar vida aos personagens de uma forma natural. A dinâmica entre eles faz a gente se apegar e querer acompanhar até o fim. A produção em si está muito boa: a fotografia é agradável, a trilha sonora combina perfeitamente com o clima da história e ajuda a criar aquela atmosfera romântica que os doramas sabem fazer tão bem.

To be honest I clicked on this just because Arin looked too pretty on the thumbnail and I didn't have anything better to watch. I was almost dropping it at episode 1 when she turned into a man, thinking that it will be a complete sausage fest after that. But it turned out to be a really decent show with unexpectedly good acting, especially when you consider the ages and short filmography of the actors. In some scenes you can actually see the Arin in Jung-hoo and it is my first time experiencing this among all the other gender switch shows I have watched. I haven't read the webtoon but I could easily imagine the panels while watching the show since the cast fit their character types perfectly. When you combine all of these with good writing you eventually end up asking yourself "what would I do in a situation like this" and the answers, confusions, self doubts, late realizations matches to what we see on the screen very appropriately. It's not just a feel good show that you are gonna forget 2 weeks later. Actually if you dive a little bit deeper into it you can feel the heart wrenching love story that ends with regrets and what ifs that inspired the writer to write her story with a new ending.
