In House Marriage Honey

社内マリッジハニー ‧ Drama ‧ 2020
The chemistry and pace of the relationship between the main leads gives the same feeling. But SMH is much better on the fluffiness and it doesn’t have love triangle.

To put it simply the similarity is in

the love after marriage genre

Both feature:
- Female leads that are cute and confident in her own ways.
- Male leads who are forward, capable, major green-flags.
- Office romance with a marriage theme.
- Romantic and intimate moments, appropriate for two people in love!

marriage without love , awkward and causal relation

These are both strangers-to-lovers romance dramas that feature healthy communication, a rather unique relationship dynamic, no true love-triangle, and hardworking leads.

I'm not fully sure why, but I kept getting reminded of cherry magic the whole time I was watching this. I don't know how to describe it but they have very similar vibes.
- two main leads work together
- in an office setting
- a main plot besides plain romance
- acknowledgeable character development
- an overall fluffy feeling
- Both couples basically keep their romance a secret from work (at least marriage honey for beginning episodes)

With little left, she discovers that the Malaysian beach she co-owns with her cousin is desired by a developer for upwards of 4 million US dollars. She travels to Malaysia to sell but discovers that the new co-owner is a beach bum named Mor Mor Cha. Mor Mor Cha refuses to sell, so Summer decides to stay and persuade him into selling the beach.

Both are mini dramas about a contract marriage that becomes true love. Both MLs marry in order to appease their parent or grandparent.

Both dramas focus on Contract marriage without any previous knowledge of the other party, yet for personal reasons to fulfill the expectations.
The leads fall in love during the contract.

This movie is my one of my favorite movie about government helping their citizen with matchmaking & finding a suitable marriage partner. Sato Kanta is an eye candy. A must watch movie.

Both:
- sweet romantic jdramas (both characters are the hopeless romantic kind)
- respectful and nontoxic lead characters
- steamy but steamy smut scenes
- cohabitation

Difference:
- In CNK, the characters know each other from high school and then they meet up in the present time.
- In SMH, they do not know each other that well.
