Though Jiu Er captures Han Zheng and subdues him with heat from the fire, she suffers the dizzying effects of her illness and accidentally sets the Willow Flowering Hall on fire. He saves her but leaves quickly thereafter. She is curious as to why touching him relieves her of her illness. Forced to pay the owner for the burned hall and discharged from her job, she must find the killer of the four officials and use the reward money to pay off the owner and regain her position.
