Mu Yan targets Jiu Er mercilessly, while Han Zheng, Chi Lan, and Ke Ha do their best to protect her. However, Mu Yan is proving too powerful against all three. He makes it clear that he will never give up the antidote to save the Qi people and that the only choice is to remove and use the ember that is keeping Jiu Er alive. Han Zheng stays positive that there are other solutions, while Jiu Er ponders her decision. (Source: frankly at kisskh)

Nice werewolf fantasy romance.

Loved the entire story. The frenemies detective duo slowly falling in love with each other while solving murders and fighting crime was so entertaining. I was not at all bored by the side characters and side stories and loved how everything pretty much tied together with the main characters and plot very nicely. also, have to add love that there was another Liu Yuning song in a drama. also glad it was a nice happy ending although I wish they made it a little more clear on the details of if Han Zheng restores his Qi Vital stone as they said the stone regenerates, giving him his powers back eventually. Overall 10/10
