Jiu Er wants to meet the Imperial Chef whose wife eloped with Zha Muke, so Wen Jun suggests she goes in the guise of a maidservant who wants to learn how to make pastries. Jiu Er and Han Zhang go their separate ways to investigate, and Han Zheng opts to skip meeting the chef and inspect the chef’s house instead.
