Good, not bad
Wow, just wow. This drama is pretty good, surprisingly. I have no expectations initially but the first episode got me all hooked and binge-watching all the way until the last episode.Everything is great. The costume, acting, characters. Oh my god, the characters was chef’s kiss🤌💗, ESPECIALLY the villains. I love the emperor’s character so much even if he’s annoying. But the character development at the end was really nice.
Now here’s the issues I have with the drama. First, no CGI powers. I mean, it’s not that bad I guess but it looks so weird and awkward. Second, the ending. I actually love the initial parts of the ending where the former empress came by the dungeon and told the reason why she did what she did. But then it took a 180 after she died to resurrect the evil demon. Huh? I was like whaaat? Why tho? That kinda ruined the ending for me. They could’ve done the ending with some fights or something like that with the main villain (the former empress) and ended it like that. But they really have to resurrect the evil demon. It was so unnecessary and lame. Third, the ending, again. If I understand correctly, the ML’s dad turns out to be the evil demon, right? I thought at the end where the evil demon is resurrected, he is going to have a dad-son moment with ML, which I think would be a very interesting plot scene. But no. I think they just forgot about that element tbh.
Alright that’s it. It’s getting way too long now. Do watch this drama because it’s really not that bad.
