Pei Jiao Shou Ni Bu Dui Jin (2024) is a very nice adaptation from the web novel "Sheng Wen You Wen". The leading man Chen Zheng Yang (as Pei Zhi He and) and the leading lady Wu Yi Qiao (as Jiang Qiao) are both smart, quick-witted strong characters, and are ganuine with each other, and have very good chemistry. The leading man is earnest in his desire to be with her and has, for a long time, been protecting and helping her from a distance. There is no manipulation, he simply saw an opportunity and, once they got married, he would not let anyone get in his way in order to have her by his side.
