Episode Title: I Shouldn't Hold Out Hope, but Nevertheless
Ren has returned from Spain and is already creating chaos by throwing red paint on school property. Miu happens to be there, and they meet for the first time. Miu is at a bar reading a book about butterflies when Ren arrives and walks directly towards her and sits next to her. For whatever reason, he seems drawn to her.

Nevertheless: The Shapes of Love Episode 1 Reactions
Hamasaki Miu is beautiful, but she got bad taste in men. even Kosaka Ren giving off bad-boy, stay away - warning signs. but i guess when u r spiraling out of control, u will hold onto anyone... i was wondering why she didn't smash that piece, when her ex belittled her one last time.... i would've either smash that piece or his head, but i guess my temperament is different - as Kosaka Ren's looks & behavior would be a turn off & i would avoid him like the plague. *******************************************and given the mini flashback from him childhood, guess the dude's got mommy issues (what's new) so no matter how many women might charm him, he is too afraid that at some point they would "break" like his mother did - so he rather keep is short & sweet, like the life span of a butterfly - beautiful but gone in a blink.

Really like both leads so far but ML Yokohama Ryusei is an absolute star. Trying to figure out his past. Miu's old boyfriend was just wow!
