Body swap drama that is very funny & touching
I was browsing Youtube when I came across this drama. I have seen Xuo Yi in other cdrama but Wang Nan was new to me. The comments in Youtube link were generally positive so I clicked 'Play'.What I liked:
1. Acting - Both Wang Nan & Zuo Yi excelled in their role. They were able to distinguish the personas that they were in.
2. Comedy - This is one of the funniest vertical shot dramas I have watched!
3. Romance - I enjoyed watching how their relationship developed from strangers with animosity to allies then lovers. That kissing scene was hot.
4. Characterisation - It was great to see growth in both FL & ML both in personal & professional aspects of their lives.
5. The ending - It started with being hilarious then became touching & very sweet.
What I disliked:
1. FL's office stint - It felt random because she was an actress.
2. ML's mother - Unbearable

Hilarious Body Swap that has a message
This body swap drama about a mediocre actress and a troubled CEO not only is fun, but it also shows character development (something seldom seen in a vertical drama, or any drama IMO).After the FL receives a Razzy award equivalent for her bad acting, she has an encounter with the ML which ends up with an accidental kiss and body swap. Because of their predicament the two must work together, helping each other through their new careers until a second body swap can be done to resolve their problem. Obviously feelings grow between them (complicated by loving their own body) as they learn the challenges and strengths of the other.
Depressed CEO learns to be more resilient, to open up his emotions, and rely upon someone else as the FL shows him to keep getting back up after being punched down. It wasn't shown as well, but I do feel the FL lead probably learned more about acting from living in a body and life situation she had never experienced before.
Wang Nan really steals the show as he leans into his feminine side. One of the scenes that made me laugh outloud was when the ML in the FL's body comes out of the shower with the towel wrapped only around the waist and bumps into the FL's manager. LOL. The photo session when FL in the ML's body has to coach the ML in the FL body on how to do sexy poses is just side splitting.
But on the more real side, the FL in the ML's body makes sure the ML' s mom really understands the dark place the ML has been experiencing mentally.
This little drama has a lot of heart. The ending confessionals are very sweet and the drama ends on a lovely note.
If you are a fan of the Korean drama Kill Me, Heal Me or It's Okay Not to be Okay, I think you'd enjoy this vertical. It will definitely be on my rewatch list.
