but this time i found all 60 ep's & even though it's short, cause i binged - it felt like a movie with a ton of built in intermissions lol... so i genuinely enjoyed this well written & acted BL.
from the little we get in the description i assumed Yun Je was the average psycho, loner that was (in his spare time) searching for his next victim. so was kinda shocked when i saw him at the start with not one but 2 side-character's. was wondering if maybe it was all in his head & he also suffered from schizophrenia... but that wasn't the case - he not a loner or a psycho & those side character's were real & his bff's.
also we get a flash back where in their teens, Jin Hyeok comes to Yun Je's house asking if he could crash - so they knew each other. a lot was left out of the description which made figuring out the plot that much more interesting.
it was sweet, sad, fun & entertaining from start to finish - even the romance was lowkey but simmering in the background & made u like everyone that much more.
two hurting souls that found each other & were there for each other from start to finish - even if it took a while for both to realize this fact. think the only bit that was whack IMO was when Jin Hyeok says he found the bracelet near his father's body - to him that didn't mean anything but being grateful towards to person that helped him. to me it was something that would implicate/incriminate him in his father's murder. but other then this bit, everything was really well written & acted by all. this was a fun watch & i highly recommend binge watching this - for sure a rewatch.
side note: this more 59 ep's, the last is the cherry on top - a blooper reel which was so sweet, fun & funny as they usually tend to be. but for sure an added bonus. repeating highly recommend!!

Great Acting With An Implausible & Sick Story!
Yet again, this is another example of a potentially good BL series that went awry. There is a lot of good acting in this series. The issue is, it was wasted in a noxious story. I want to cry over the content (or lack thereof) that is being used to construct BL stories. While I know there ought to be no topics off limits, I do wish more positive representations of ‘Boys Love’ could be portrayed. Or at least ones that are not always so pessimistic in nature and content and/or surrounded by such ugly and negative dimensions. Generally speaking, Korean BL tend to be dark and broody; this one was exceptionally morose and despairing, sprinkled with a mixture of odd personas that sometimes worked. And sometimes not. This is good acting wasted on a silly and sick story. You can't find better story ideas?
