Reseñas
I watched this in two parts—binged until episode 15 and then waited for the show to end so I could binge the finale. I’m so glad I did it this way. Even if you can’t binge it all, I strongly recommend at least binging the last six episodes.
The show gives you hints about the backstory and villain in the early episodes, but I constantly craved spoilers because I had too many guesses—none of which turned out to be right, lol. The storyline flows perfectly; nothing feels too fast, too early, or too late. It keeps you suspicious and feeds those suspicions until the whole truth is revealed.
Since I don’t want to give away any spoilers—and the whole series is less than four hours—let me just say this: the last three episodes completely blew my mind, the plot twist was wild and the bromance was quite strong.
Short but interesting premise
I was searching for Chinese bromances and this popped up. I wasn't actually sure but Night13's review made me try it and let me just say, they were correct.Sure, the drama is short but it has it's own perks; the cast was well chosen, their acting was pretty good especially the Jiang Zhen character the way he portrayed grief and relinquishing to life events, the plot was so interesting and I'm surprised there didn't seem to be any major plotholes and the way the story progressed without much repetition, it was just fantastic.
My favorite thing was that it turned out to be PURE bromance- and i say this because I've been bromance-baited many times, and I mean MANY times. I was praying it turn out to just be bromance and it came true. There IS a female character, but both the MLs treat her as their sister (of course she likes one of the ML, but don't worry since he doesn't reciprocate her feelings). Like Night13 has reviewed, the last few episodes were FREAKING CRAZY- they literally kept me on my toes. I was clutching my hands because the plot twist was so flavorful.
All in all, if you're looking for a short C-bromance, please do give it a try. It's worth it.
