There is a new member of the group who inadvertently was chosen by the tool to be its master. Now the daughter of Nanlin tree clan must try to get the new master to fall for her. If in love, the tool will change its allegiance. YueChu agrees to cultivate the empty magic as it will force the shapeless ones into a host. This will allow the host and spirit to be killed. This is the only defense as the foxes now in circle can circumvent space and time otherwise. It is believed they are trying to get back in time prior to circle being made.
