characters

Everyone so far are all good . the story is getting cuter and cuter. The most anticipating couple of the year. The ex fiancé portrays his character so good that you really want to smack him his face

they're trying

for a pretty classic trope of a fake marriage, there are somehow still misses. the characters don't seem to be connected enough to each other's lives nor do they particularly seem to care as much. perhaps this is just the set up and it'll all pick up well enough but in a show that has only 12 episodes, it does leave me questioning whether we will get enough development. i do enjoy how awkward everyone seems to be around each other though. the main leads are understandably awkward, there's a lot happening and escalating. but for the side characters as well, having them be awkward with the leads more than with each other (for example the ML's team) reinforces the idea that these people don't know each other well and that the leads really don't know anyone in Seoul. that awkwardness of being in a new city where you're living/working but know no one except your colleagues and have no friends is well done.
