Everything is perfect.
One of the best Japanese Movies for me. Everything is perfect. Really portrait what is youthful like. The ending scene is perfect. Music is spot on too. All cast are delivered.i don't know what's more to write, since it needs 300 characters to be able to post. i just wanna tell everyone how perfect this movie is.

What if inner feelings had a physical representation?
I Have A Secret is a youth romance that changes up the recipe with a young and talented cast. Our main character Kyo is someone with a secret ability to see other's emotions like a punctuation mark. He believes he's just a regular guy, but soon is involved in a new friendship group in his second year of high school that may change his mind.Technical details. I'll start with the acting for the main friendship group; they all do a good job. Everyone has a part to shine in and are memorable by the end. In particular, Deguchi Natsuki as the bright Miki, and Kikuchi Hinako as Para. This may be one of those movies that in a few years we will look back and wonder how this cast was able to all exist in one movie.
The camera work I think is OK. It is a bit inconsistent, but not in a very distracting way, but I could not help but notice some handheld shaky shots interspliced between normal steady shots. The computer graphics for the secret ability is pretty good and at times can be comical or even emotional.
The music is fine, the end being the standout for the music and score.
Intent. While the major youth romance theme is strong throughout the movie, the addition of the secret ability really changes not only the characters but how we perceive them as well. I really love how you may have to think a little more from their perspectives because of this. This also means the chemistry and relationships between characters is much more thought provoking, and to me I think the friendships are the highlight of the movie, more so than the romance.
However, I do think some characters are stuck in a personality trope for effect, and when it comes to the end, while being good, felt like some things were a little rushed. To be fair, this is based off a novel that I have not read, so there could be a lot of source material details throughout that unfortunately had to be condensed. There also has to be a pacing balance with the set of 5, which does make me feel a little torn because while there is a balance it also can lose some effect and affect the pace.
After effect. With the way the plot is laid out to the viewers, I think that one could easily still have this movie in mind well after watching. I am being intentionally vague but I really think each character is quite well thought out and it works well. The movie does a good job of keeping your interest as you learn more about these characters.
I really do recommend this movie. I think it has good chemistry, and a thought provoking plot. I could write a ton more if this were to be a spoiler review, but I really hope you can give this one a watch.
