Head Over Heels (2025)

Head over Heels (2025)is a great romance miniseries with Yao Guanyu (as Xie Yu Li) and Yu Yin (as Ye Ning) in the leading couple’s role. This is a story of a man that finally finds the woman he fell in love with six years before , but she doesn’t remember him. Even though they are from different social backgrounds and their characters are different, she is shy and inexperience and he is direct and forceful, when she experienced threats and viciousness, she came to realize that he has become more than her protector. He forced his way into her heart and she is more than willing to accept him. When fate is threatening their time together, she surrendered to his care, warmth, and steadfast love to be showered by his affection, tenderness, and care and to be able to reciprocate for as long they can. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life, the leading couple has intense, sensual, and fantastic chemistry whether they are bickering or being intimate. Both the male and female lead are strong characters when faced with adversity and firm in their believes which, together, they only become better and stronger. Overall, this drama is very good and entertaining. Enjoy it!

There is no chemistry between Yuyin and Yao Guanyu

I watched this last year when i was skeptical about Yuyin acting eventhough i like her. Yao Guanyu was fine playing madman ML (it's basically his expertise) but they don't have any chemistry as couple.

FL has ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). To fulfill her mother's dying wish, she sends her younger brother back to the Xie family. She approaches the ML. Six years ago, FL helped ML and he fell in love with he but FL dont remember him. ML manipulates her, luring the innocent girl into his trap. When her brother is kidnapped, FL begs him to save him, agreeing to be his lover.

This plot summarized melodrama plot that wont have Happy Ending and they make this drama Open Ending to make hope for fans. This version's plot is rather bland and not as engaging. The melodrama emotion are feel artificial and it was flat as surfboard.

Basically it's just not my cup of tea.
