Writting Ruinned The Show
🎭Why I Hit PlayI had previously watched another drama featuring this pair, so I was curious to see them again in this one.
🎭Plot Summary
The female lead (FL) is killed by her fiancé and stepsister. She is reborn and meets the male lead (ML).
🎭What I Liked
The romantic and intimate scenes between the lead couple were good.
Their on-screen look good and chemistry is good.
The ML’s character is the only thing holding this drama together. He has the style, attitude, and charisma to dominate the screen.
His character is well-written: he’s smart, emotionally mature, and completely devoted to the FL.
He’s the only truly lovable character in the drama, showing strong decision-making and consistent loyalty.
🎭What I Didn't Like
The writer made several major mistakes. The story felt meaningless and lacked a clear motive.
Too many themes were crammed into one show rebirth, child exchange, toxic greedy families, hidden identity/CEO, one-night stand, evil second male lead (2ML), and the scheming stepsister etc.
Things kept changing every 5–10 minutes, it didn’t even feel like I was watching the same drama.
Because of all these subplots, the narrative failed to stay focused or make sense.
Repeatative plot.
The FL was bullied, kidnapped, almost raped, nearly assaulted, or harmed multiple times, which made her rebirth feel pointless. She didn’t grow or gain control over her fate.
Her family appeared in the beginning but then conveniently disappeared from the storyline.
The ML’s family was just toxic and greedy throughout.
FL have trust issue, and give unnessary tantrum.
The ML tried to punish or even kill the 2ML 5–6 times, but the FL kept stopping him every single time making her character seem frustratingly naive and irrational.
Main leads are good performer but writting ruinned the show.
🎭Final Verdict
The drama had potential, especially thanks to the ML and the lead couple’s chemistry. But poor writing, chaotic plotlines, and an overly victimized FL ruined the overall experience.
